Parking and location
Parking is available in the lot at the corner of East Powell Street and North Washington Street, directly across from the church. Note that both Powell and North Washington are one-way streets. You may also park on the sides of Powell or North Washington, in front of the church. There are two handicap parking spaces located on North Washington Street.
We are located at 231 N Washington Street in downtown Yazoo City on the corner of Powell and North Washington Street.
Arrival time
Our Sunday morning service is at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Our Sunday evening service is at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel. Sunday school classes begin at 10:00 a.m.
teaching/worship style
Our teaching style is expository. Our pastors work through scripture explaining the original author's context and intent and then explain how it applies to life today.
Our worship services are traditional and consist of singing hymns from the Trinity Hymnal and Trinity Psalter, scripture readings, prayers, responsive readings, reciting creeds, and the preaching of the Word.
Our evening worship services are more informal and typically held in the Chapel as opposed to the main sanctuary.
accessibility
We have a handicap accessible entrance on North Washington Street. Enter through the white doors of the education wing and then proceed to the lift on your right. Ushers are available to assist.
what to wear
On Sunday mornings, most wear business or business casual attire. On Sunday evenings, the attire is more casual. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you most comfortable for worship.
entering the church
We typically have ushers and greeters at the main entrances on North Washington and Powell that will be glad to assist you in any way needed. Bulletins are available at each entrance. The nursery is located on the second floor of the education wing. Restrooms are located on the first and second floor of the education wing.
